History & Importance

Gargoti Museum is operated by Superb Minerals India Pvt. Ltd., an organization founded in 1994 by mineral collectors and exporters. Over several years, Founder Mr. K. C. Pandey developed an extensive collection of natural minerals, crystals, gemstones and fossils sourced from various regions of India.

Realizing that India lacked a dedicated space to showcase its mineral wealth, he established India’s first Gem & Mineral Museum in Nashik.
The museum was officially inaugurated in 2001 by Late Shri Balasaheb Thackeray.

Today, Gargoti Museum is recognized for:
